Question

Henry contracted with James to do certain remodeling work on the building owned by James. James supplied all of the necessary specifications for the work. The contract price for doing the work was $80,000. After the work was completed, James was unhappy and asked another contractor, Jones, who fashioned himself an expert, to compare the completed work to the specifications that were originally supplied to Henry. At trial, Jones testified that Henry had performed the work improperly and that it would cost approximately $16,000 to correct the deficiencies in the work performed for James. If James refuses to pay any amount to Henry what recourse, if any, does Henry have against James?

Explanation / Answer

yes because of the contract he has to pay and jones is just doing the remodelling of what hs not been done properly.
