Question

the following statement needs just reply to please

I don`t want to get ahead of myself by trying to set extreme goals for my self.  My goal as of now is to finish my Bachelors degree in business.  Once I am finished with my Bachelors I will decide what I need to do next to achieve the goals I have already set for my self.  I could very well see myself going for a Masters degree, but right now it seems so far away.  Most likely a Masters will be my course of action if i plan to stay in the Army for longer than 20 years, but I have no idea of what is going to happen that far in to the future.  The difference in income vs level of degree is significantly impacting my decision to obtain higher levels of education, but I have to make sure that it fits in to those plans.

According to "DBA ORACLE" the differences in income vs. degree are that High School graduates earn approximately $1.2 million dollars over their lifetime, Those with Bachelors degrees earn $2.1 million dollars, Masters degrees earn $2.5 million dollars, and Doctoral degrees earn $3.4 million dollars.  These are estimated incomes over a lifetime that depend upon what degree a person pursues. Of course by looking at the numbers I would likely try to attain the highest level of education I could.  As of now though I am just trying to attain my Bachelors degree, go full officer in the Army and retire, and then start a business.  If I feel a higher degree would increase my income at that time in my life the by all means I will most definitely pursue it.

Explanation / Answer

You should go for the completion of your bachelor degree and then take up a job. And then after working for about2-3 years if you are not satisfied with your job, you can go ahead for higher education.
