1 How would you describe your relationship with the other person?
Answer - relationship with other person are describe either in a high context or a low context culture
High context ,need lot of context ,and years of relationship ,whereas in low context it is more direct and to the point
2 What role does nonverbal communication play in the type relationship you chose? Be specific.
Answer - High context ,since lay emphasis on relationship and knowing the other person for a while , it relies more on a non verbal communication to decipher meaning out of the communication , also when people in high context speak , they are most indirect and may not actually mean what they say , the focus is more on non verbal cues to get the message
While in low context it is very direct and when people operate from a low context culutre they mean and assume that what they say is direct and accepted at the other end
3 How do the categories of nonverbal communication behavior differ between the members of the relationship? Give specific examples of behaviors you experience during interactions with the other person.
Answer - High context - members are more diplomat ,rely on non verbal cues
example -India - if a manager is doing a performance appriasal of his or her subordinate ,they would be very indirect in giving feedback
while if the same manager is in USA -where low context is used- they would directly share their feedback without mincing words

Answer :
Immediacy is the creation of closeness, a sense of togetherness, of oneness, between speaker and listener. When you communicate immediacy you convey a sense of interest and attention, a liking for and an attraction to the other person. You communicate immediacy with both verbal and nonverbal messages.
