The duties of the past job are as follows:
I worked as a business analyst with a software development firm wherein my primary responsibility was to gather the requirements from the clients as to how the software was to work and what were the exact requirement that need to be developed. In view of my above job description I had the following duties
1. Arrange for regular meeting with the client to understand what the requirement is.
2. To understand the gap between the client present system and what was actually required
3. To do feasibility study and check if the proposed project was indeed workable and financially viable
4. The make a financial estimate of the costs involved in making the transition to the new system
5. When the client is fine with the estimate, taking a sign off from the client and starting the process of gathering requirements
6. The requirements are gathered by understanding what issues the users are facing and asking them to fill questionnaires and interviews
7. Once the full process is complete, we prepare a document containing the business requirements of the client and hand it over to the development team to work on it.
These were my duties in the position of my last job
