On the other hand, other mutants cy i and cy iii showed recovered protein even after mutation. Hence the cy ii region in Ciz 1 is important cyclin E binding.

Cy iii region is required for cyclin A binding. As the mutant Cy iii shows no or less recovered cyclin A protein on the gel.
