23 Questions 1) What is the role of the products of alcoholic fermentation in the production of beer? In the production of bahed goods? In the production of wine? Yeasts and many bacterla are facultative anacrobes-that is, they make ATP by fermentation in the absence of axygen, but if axygen is present, they can undergo acrobic resptration. Why would it be advantageous for them to be able to make ATP by acrobic respiration? Hint: Compare the amount of ATP produced in each process 2) 3) Why do you continue to breathe deeply after strenuous excrcise? When your roasting marshmallow catches fire, it burns well, ging offa lot of heat. Where does this energy come from? How is this related to cellular respiration? 4)Explanation / Answer
