Explanation / Answer
Hi Answer:
1. Do you think there is enough education being done to prevent this violence?
Answer: According to my views the education plays a very crucial role in preventing this type of violence, but the education which is given in school and colleges is not enough for the prevention of this violence rather parents also have to come forward to teach their male children to respect women/girls. They must teach them moral values because a child comes to school or institution after 4-5 year of his birth but if his parents teach him at home what’s right or wrong and always respects opposite gender then I think this problem will solve easily because the teaching or moral values start at home not from college or institutions.
2. Why do you think that many acts of sexual violence on college campuses don’t get reported
Answer: Yes, many cases of sexual violence on colleges campuses are not get reported due to the society. The victims think more about the society that what the people will say or ask her and how she will face the society after reporting the sexual violence. But this thinking is wrong if we hide the crime of someone it will encourage him to do it, again and again, and some another girl will be the victim of that fellow. So being a responsible citizen one must report any kind of such violence and raise the voice against it so that no one can do it again with you or with someone else.
3. Do you agree with ‘boys will be boys’ when it comes to sexual assault and the other sexually charged behaviors?
Answer: No, I totally disagree with this saying that boys will boys when it comes to sexual assault. By agree this we will just encourage the boys to do such cheap activities. Whatever boy or girl everyone has an independent life and he/she has full right to live it in his way. So we can not hide the crime or sin by saying that boys will be boys.
4. Have you ever been in a situation where someone said or did something that would be considered part of rape culture?
Answer: No, fortunately, I did not meet such situation on the college campus.
5. Do you think that rape culture and language pertaining to rape is learned and that it is normal in American society?
Answer: My answer will again No, sexual harassment and rape culture are must be considered a crime and there should be the strong provision of punishment for this. Because whenever someone attempts such things he directly plays with the life of a girl/women. He harshes her body as well as her soul so this type of culture must be banished from society and the persons who want or try to follow this culture must be punished hard.
6. What impact do you see this having on American society overall?
Answer: Presently our society becomes a home of lots of evil we didn't care or respect each other dignity and become totally shellfish. Today’s generation is low tempered and has no self-control. The violence is in their minds. They always have destructive thoughts. We almost about to lose all moral values. If we really want to make our society healthy we have to avoid negative thinking and aggressive nature. We have to teach children the moral values and spend more time with them so that they must learn how to respect everyone.
