Here (below) is a solution for a problem provided by Chegg solutions. I know there are usually a lot of mistakes in Chegg's solutions, but I am not worried about that here.... What I need help with is how to explain the following:
Question: How do you know what values of x, y, or z to set as constants in the individual integrals? For example they show [integral] |y=1, z=-1 . How did they know which values to use during integration?
Explanation / Answer
since the cahrge if moving in x dirction from x=2 to x=5, herefore the limit for integration is for x is 2 to 5. similarly we can get the limits for y and z also.
