1. Desertification is mainly caused due to the lack of vegetation, it an result of the over grazing or deforestation. Cattle can compact the soil so that soil can not hold water in it and when rain comes this will lead to the erosion of the soil caused water can’t be soaked by the ground, resulting in converting the soil into less fertile this will kill the vegetation such as trees, shrubs, grass etc and leading it to converting it into an barren land.

2. Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are the ares of the ares which can be classified as most vulnerable as the water in this areas have not be used properly and the threat of converting the agricultural land info an desert is prevailing now due to it’s geographic location along with the improper uses of the valuable water resource.
