The syntax for these answers is similar (though not identical) to that of a TI graphing calculator. Functions must be entered with parentheses, e.g. you must use cos(x), not cos x. The parser will recognize numbers, the constants e and pi, the operations +, *, /, and ^ (for raising to a power), and various functions including exp(x), sqrt(x), sin(x), cos(x), etc. (see the link to detailed instructions below for a full list). The parser will recognize 2x as 2*x; you don't have to include the multiplication symbol between a number and a variable or function, though it is fine if you do. You do have to include the multiplication symbol between a variable and a function, e.g. you must enter x*sin(x) not xsin(x) (which the parser will think is an attempt to access an unknown function named "xsin"). See the instruction set for the parser if you want to read more about how it works and how to enter functions.Explanation / Answer
1. (6*exp(x))(1+tan(x))/(7*cos(x))
2. (9 + 9x*tan(x) + 4*tan(x))/cos(x)
3. 7*exp(x)*(8x-9)/(8x-1)^2
