volcano is the cone shaped structure on earth crust from which earth's molten material, volcanic ash and gases escaped. mostly volcanos are situated at the the convergent or divergent plate boundaries like mid atlantic ridge and mid oceanic ridge or pacific ring of the fire. we can classified volcano in three type on the basis of their activeness. active volcano is the volcano in which volcanic process are running in present time. and dormant volcano are those in which volcanic process is not active currently but can be erupted in future , this time period can be vary from 5 year to thousands of years. and the dead volcano are those which dont have any volcanic process and there is no chance of any volcanic activity in the future.
