1. Technology has changed and improved science since a lifetime. It started out by basic discoveries that have started since our early years of existence. One example of this is the contribution of the Mesopotamians who discovered the mathematics system and contributed to astronomy and technology. In my previous post I chose Aristotle as the most important scientist just because he had contributed in many areas of the world. He did not only focus on one thing but he also focused on many subjects that have helped shape the world today. Another scientist that contributed was also Ptolemy who contributed mainly to astronomy. Thus not all of their theories were correct, I do believe they were very brilliant people. They based their theories based on observations which is now essential when advancing in science nowadays. I also think that even if they were not correct in some areas, it did help us later on to see that they were incorrect and make further analyzation in order for society to find the correct answers. Besides the fact that these scientist contributed, their were many more which are not named here, that have helped out in our discoveries. I think that they have helped the process of scientific thought because they have helped understand the world not only based on evidence but also in reasoning. Based on the observations they did, they were able to prove the different ideas they had based on evidence they gathered. Technology has made our discoveries much easier because with the help of technology we are able to gather better data and with more precise answers.

2. Technology has changed the scientific thought process mostly in the way we approach theories or make observations. For example, in the notes on the “Rome and Science” page there is mention about how the medieval world approached a problem and then attacked to answer the question, such as the mystery of rainbows. In modern day, we have the ability to research through a computer and come up with theories by simply studying text, but that wasn’t always the case. Texts weren’t just mass produced everywhere across nations, and certainly not available with a few computer keys. Observation was key to any scientific discovery. I, of course, do not imply this is not a means of discovery in the modern world, but there was a limited access issue that we don’t have today. Our modern world has also made it more difficult to know which spread of information is true or false, as it spreads faster that he fact checking can be done. In the medieval science world, “They subjected ancient texts to close critical scrutiny” (Rome and Science). We have so much access to everything so fast, most people do not check sources or research before believing something id true, which can lead to harm. The positive side to this technology is how much faster the true information can be spread. Disease control, new planets discovered, pictures of the universe from satellites, or new medical discoveries can be read and learned faster to help other scientists and treat the sick or dying. The trick is to know fin what is true and not. However, communication has sped up the ability to discuss theories among fellow scientists instead of relying on slow mail to be sent back and forth. Trains, telegraphs, phones, webcams, and texting are multiple examples of the progression of technology.

yes im agree with ideas . technology was the best innovation in our life,in different sectors we works easily coz of new technologies are coming day by .like an example of email ,contacting apps we easily and fastly communicate with peoples and make distances closer.also with an internet we spread lot of information in a minute and share with millions of people in world. not only in a communicating sector but also in hospital,school,travel,industries etc almost in all technoly makes work easier.
