After sorting the data we found
1.24, 1.24, 1.47, 1.58, 2, 2.15, 2.15, 2.25, 2.28, 2.28, 2.36, 2.46

Mode of the time spent on individual student is
there are three modes of the individual student time spend
1.24, 2.15, 2.28
Solution(b):
Median of the time spent on individual student is
(12+1)/2 or 6.5th value
So median of the time spent is = (2.15+2.15)/2 = 4.30/2 = 2.15

Mean of the time spent = 23.46/12 = 1.955
Variance of the time spent = ((1.24-1.955)^2 +(1.24-1.955)^2 +(1.47-1.955)^2 +(1.58-1.955)^2 +(2-1.955)^2 +(2.15-1.955)^2 +(2.15-1.955)^2 + (2.25-1.955)^2 +(2.28-1.955)^2 + (2.28-1.955)^2 + (2.36-1.955)^2 +(2.46-1.955)^2 )/11
