Forest and agriculture environment are storing a significant amount of carbon. while converting a forest to agriculture produce more huge amount of greenhouse gases. Mostly litter are highly found in forest environment than agriculture, Plant litter causes a serious of carbon breakdown because of forest fire and other hazards. Plant litter are the dead leaves which forms a bed on the surface soil, later it may cause fire due to natural or man made activites, then the fire automatically enlarges over a huge places. Forest around an area of 1 kilometre are fired then there is huge loss of carbon in that environment. while agriculture environment mostly the chance of carbon breakdown occurs due to grazing the or while converting forest into agriculture causes the carbon breakdown.oak leaf having more litter in the environment , soybean and corn also a big source for carbon, but it also easily fired with any activity that also causes to carbon breakdown. But controlling the forest fire is not as easy as possible.we have to take preventive measures like removing litter helps in reducing these kind of incidents.
