If x is thenumber of people in the group who recognize the Sony brand name, then x can be 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, and the corresponding probabilitiesare 0.0016, 0.0250, 0.1432, 0.3892, and 0.4096. Is it unusualto randomly select four consumers and find that none of themrecognize the brand name of Sony? Can someone help me out with this problem? I appreciateit. Explanation / Answer

This is not a probability distribution because the sum of the probabilities does not equal 1, so it's not reliable to answer any probability questions.  However, even if it was, we are told that P(x=0) = 0.0016, which is less than .05, so it WOULD be an unusual event.
