pdf Climate . What is the Green House Effect? Explain it. Human Impact on Global Climate CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) Levels Are Rising (find a graph in Power Point Presentation, explain how levels of CO2 and Global Temperature are correlating); why we have global warming and what is that. How it affects our planet? what causes global warming? . How green house gasses affecting global warming and which are those gasses? . how it affects climate in different parts of the world? (think about biosphere, population, water resources) is it good or bad and why What can and should humans do about this issue? Give one example of negative effect of global warming in the United States .Explanation / Answer
1. The presence of the atmosphere maintains the temperature of the earth's surface at a much higher level than would be expected on the basis of equilibrium with solar radiation input. This is because the gases are transparent to short wave radiation but almost opaque to long wave radiation. Glass has similar properties and the effect of the earth's atmosphere was likened to that of a greenhouse. Detailed work has since shown that the higher temperature in a greenhouse depend more in reduced turbulence than in radiation differences. Some greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, water vapour, carbon monoxide, CFC etc are responsible for greenhouse effect.
2. I thank impact on global climate are mainly responsible for human. Human cut lots of trees day by day but not any do forestation by them. Due to deforestation directly affects our environment, our ecology and biodiversity. Lots of industries day by day stablished and the contaminated gases released by industries directly affects our atmosphere. Due to these gases also affect our environment and ecology. And greenhouse gases also responsible for climatic change. So these are the most important activity done by human which affects global climate.
4. The gradual warming of the atmosphere of the planet earth owing to emission of greenhouse gases particularly carbon dioxide and carbon mono oxide. Global warming affects our planet it affects mainly ozone layer which prevent us by solar radiation. Due to global warming parameters like greenhouse gases our ozone layer affected, day by day the height of ozone layer reduced and due to this reduction solar radiation easily coming to our earth surface and this is very harmful for life on earth, it also increase earth temperature which causes glaciers melted day by day and these are affect environment ecology and biodiversity of the earth.
5. Main causes of global warming are population increasing, deforestation, induatrlization, green house gases increases, increasing motor vachile day by day etc.
6. Greenhouse gases directly affected global warming, due to increasing green house gases our ozone layer depleted and solar radiation easily reach to our earth surface and increase temperature in earth. It also harmful for living things on earth. Due to increasing temperature in earth glaciers are melted and our climate disturbed. Main green house gases are carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, CFC, water vapour, nitrous oxide etc.
