You are to include in this report why you chose the city, how you believe they are in danger, supporting evidence, and how you intend to remedy the situation. Submit your reports to me! Explanation / Answer

First of all we need to understand these terms like tides and waves because after that we can estimate easily that which regions are more easily get into these kinds of calamities and destruction and region which get attacked by these tides and waves. So lets begin with one by one and then we will come to your points according to my experience in this field.

Storm- it ia the high speed moving winds which have energy due to pressure diffrence and caused the destruction duw to the motions. It destroys everything in the region where it takes place. Generally it take place near to the equator and coastal regions.

Tides- it can be defined as it is the rise and fall of the sea and ocean water level by the effect of the gravitational attractions caused by the sun and moon to the earth and by the rotation of earth in its own axis. This cause the water bodies to distrubed and cause rise of water level to one part simultaneously fall in another part of the water body.

Waves-in the water bodies, during the tides there is a disturbance caused on the surface of the water body due to which certain up and down motion caused on the surface of water. The rise level and the fall level are combined together to form waves. This is just a case of disturbance which transfer momentum and energy from one side to another side.

Now come to your point that which regions are getting more attacks by these calamities than it have the certain characteristics as follows -

1) the region which are at the shore or settled at the coastal region or near to the water bodies.

2) the weather conditions is humid and hot and have the low air pressure as comapred to other regions.

3)these are the regions which are either located on the equator or near to the equator have to face these calamities.

Now we need to select those cities which have the above characters to protect them. Gulf of Mexico, cape hattaras, canada, ny cities etc are the some region which we need to protect.

Now to protect them we need to-

1) built the shades and the strong building structure .

2)avoid making tin shades houses.

3) stop polluting air as it rise the temperature of air which cause the pressure difference and results in the formation of these calamities.

4)built the basement or underground rooms to stay safe and protected during the storm and calamities .
