We know that we need to control climate change in order to insure the continued existence of our planet. That is a crucial problem that cannot go overlooked. However, what responsibility do we have as Americans to financially support those who would lose their livelihoods in the pursuit of environmental protection? For this assignment, answer the following question: Would you vote for a bill that raised all taxes for all Americans if those added tax dollars went directly to a substantial unemployment benefit for people who lost their jobs as a result of environmental regulation?

Answer is yes, definitely I will vote for the bill which add tax and use it for beneficiaries who lose their jobs because of environmental regulations. In America. Coal mining production is at peak and employers are fully depends on it. Because of environmental regulation, the environmental protection agency has controlled the carbon emission rate from various industries so that the emission will minimize. This carbon emission causes serious health problems like breathing because carbon dioxide enters into the atmosphere but imbalances the oxygen quantity and enhance climate change.

Another act given by environmental protection agency is that they have controlled toxic air pollutants like sulphur, mercury which affects the air quality can cause Health problems and enhance climate change. This harmful gasses causes acid rain. This is why American has amended clean air act which aims to control on this harmful gas emissions.

Now because of this regulation, the production from various coal industries will low which will directly affects employers livelihoods. Hence tax bill will definitely help these employers and I think this is their right and in republican country, this should accept.

In America, there are cement plants which requires different gasses like sulphur and nitrogen But because of regulations near about 15000 employers loses jobs.

Now if we say that coal mining is not giving employment because of environmental regulations, then their is other alternatives like electricity jobs by wind companies, solar companies, electricity generated by water sites like dam, tides into the sea. Energy created by biomass etc. All these sectors require the huge amount of employers.

Hence any environmental regulations created by passing the bill will definitely in relation to public safety and protection. This is the prime goal.
