2. the mean abslolute deviation is 0.07m/s

9.80-977= 0.03    9.68-9.77=-0.09     9.88-9.77=0.11   9.72-9.77=-0.05  

0.03+0.09+0.11+0.05 = 0.28 / 4 = 0.07
