Question

Finding Reaction Forces I need to find the reaction forces at points A, B, and C. I have a beam with a total length of 90", on the left is point A, 60" to the right is point B, and at the other end is point C. I have a distributed load of 700lb/in across the entire beam. E = 30 x 10^6 psi I = 250 in^4 Wo = 700lb/in. I was told to use equations 8 and 7 from http://www.advancepipeliner.com/Resources/Others/Beams/Beam_Deflection_Formulae.pdf to solve this. I was then told to use my answer from 8 and use it in 7 and find my reaction forces for A and C. Using the subbing in my values into the second equation in number 8 I get and answer of 0.0693. This is where I get lost as to where to sub my answer into the equations for 7 to get my reaction forces. Supposedly simple statics equations. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
