Gene edited babies are the excellent discovery without hampering the embryo. Molecular biologists fuse enzymes that alter the DNA bases. Base editors like cytidine deaminase changes C-G base to T-A pairs. Embryo screeing is very important criteria to make the method successful. Embryo that do not get mutated could be transferred to the mother and make babies for partners with fertility problems.

This method is good but as suggested special care should be taken while screening the embryo. Enzymes which are used should be used in exact amount as mutation may occur which might not get detected.
