1) Lets assume Mark avg speed was x km/hr.
Distance traveeled by Mark in 4 hrs = 4*x
Stefan's speed = x+10 km/hr
Distance travelled by Stefan in 3 hrs = 3*(x+10)
4x = 3(x+10)
4x = 3x +30
x = 30 km/hr (Mark's avg speed)
2) Amount = $24000
Interest = 2.4%
Amount (compounding continously) = Principale^(rate*time)
= 24000e^(0.024*18)
= 24000*1.54
= $ 36960
