reasons for difference in age specific death rates-
1. Mortality & morbidity rates are observed to vary between geographical areas ,the severity of epidemic in bothh the places can bedifferent, thus we observe difference in numbers.
2. the constitution of population under each section of age will be different, for eg. we have observed 21 as incidence rate in Kanvas city while 0 in chicago, there might be a possibility that there are no individuals in chicago having age 50 or above.
3. also with time medical advancement takes place thus we observed lesserr rate in chicago where epidemic took place after 8 years.
