Explanation / Answer
Question: Where does the majority of the energy people consume come from?
Answer 1:Even though clean energy is a priority for developing sustainable and low carbon footprint, the majority of energy on our planet is derived from natural gas, coal and petroleum which makes up more than 77 % of our sources with smaller percentages derived from nuclear and renewable sources like solar and wind.
Needless to say, natural gas, coal and petroleum (fossil fuels) are witnessing over-exploitation on a major scale.
