The sample size is 10 for each of Friday the 6th and Friday the 13th. Excel cannot evaluate the dates, and in this case ut is not required as between July 19990 till November 1992 Friday the 6th came 10 times and since 13 happens 1 week after the 6th, that also occurred 10 times.
