Hello,
Hope you're keeping well.
Now I'm assuming I've to answer question 15 since nothing is mentioned in the writing section.
15a. We can very well see a Linear relation between the Bachelor's degree holders and the median income of the same person. The correlation between the two will, therefore, be high.
15b. The observation whose median income is around 55,000 and has a Bachelor's % degree of 60% students stand out from the rest of the data, as it happens to be an outlier. An investigation by NPR found that teachers faced pressure from administrators to give absent students a score of 50 rather than zero, on the logic that “if the student tried to make up the missed work or failed, it would most likely be impossible to pass with a zero on the books.” Meanwhile, students in danger of failing were placed in credit-recovery classes against school policy. “If teachers pushed back against these practices,” NPR reports, the “administration retaliated against them by giving them poor teacher evaluations.” So the reforms pushed by Rhee and the Obama administration played a role in encouraging administrators to juke the stats.
15c. Yes. We can clearly see a Linear Relationship between the two from the scatter plot.
Hope it helped. Cheers!
