b)mean=p=0.6

stnadard deviation=sqrt(0.6*(1-0.6)/80)=0.0548

Ho:p=0.6

Ha:p<0.6

Test statistic:

z=(0.5-0.6)/0.0548

z=-1.826

p-value=P(z<-1.826)=0.0339

As,p-value<0.05,we reject null hypothesis,we can conclude that true population proportion is less than 60%.
