1. The age group reaching 70th birthday surviving from the group of 65th:-

Age group alive between 65 to 69 = 1- 0.06832 = 0.93168

Age group alive between 70 to 74 = 1-0.11183 = 0.88817

Therefore, those survived from age 65 to 70 = 0.04998.

2. The percentage of the cohort who would reach their sixty-fifth birthday:-

People living at the age of 65th birthday out of 100,000= 88,445.30

therefore percentage reaching the age of 65 = 88.45%

3.The number of cohort members die between their sixty-fifth and seventieth birthdays:-

The number of people dying between 65 to 69 = 0.06832

The number of people dying between 70 to 74 = 0.11183

The percentage of people dying between 65 to 70 = 0.04351

Therefore the number of people dying between those ages out of 100,000 = 4351 people

5. The average remaining years of life at age sixty-five and what is the total life expectancy a sixty-five-year-old can expect:  

Average remaining years of life = 18.47

Total life expectancy = 65 +18.47 = 83.47
