According to the parallel-coordinates plot, how are online customers differentiated from in-store customers? nannal in and the distaniceExplanation / Answer
With respect to Age:
This is clealrly visible and obvious as well that if the age increases people don't prefer online shopping.
It is shown in graph as well. Most of the people below age 40 do online shopping, only 4 people do In store shopping. All the people for age above 40 do In store shopping only.
Annual Income
This can be divided into 3 groups:
-> Low Low income people prefer in store shopping only. Density of orange line is clealry visible.
-> Middle In case of middle income, data looks evenly distributed i.e. they equally prefer in store as well as online shopping
-> High There are only 2 people in this group. They generally prefer online shopping only,
With respect to Distance
If Distance is less people always prefer in store shopping only.
In case of more distance, people only prefer online shopping. This is clearly visible from example above. We can clearly classify two groups by one horizontal line.
