Programming the quadratic formula is quite fun and simple. PRGM> New> Create New (ENTER) Prompt A, B, C a+bi B2-4AC --> D Disp "Discriminant is" Disp D Disp "Roots Are" (-B + (D))/(2A) ---> R (-B + (D))/(2A) ---> S Disp R Frac Disp S Frac This program will find the roots quadratic equations. ----> is the store button. Most commands are found underPRGM button. Get the a+bi from the mode function while inprogramming mode. This will allow it to display imaginaryroots. To get in the complex number mode, just go to mode and select a+bi2 from the bottom. That should put you in the rightmode. I just leave it in that all the time. Do thiswhile not in programming mode.
