Question
In my pre-calculus class we have a test later this week on limitsand i wasnt there when we did the material. Usually i would catchup on this myself in the textbook but our textbook doesnt havelimits in it other than those that are approaching infinity forsome odd reason. I figured out much of the material by myself justlooking things up on youtube and such but some i still need helpwith. Could someone explain me the rules as limits approach zero,if you actually have to draw out the graph for one sided limits andwhat the rules for multifunction limits are. Also could you explainthe following limits.lim x/(x-3)
x->3
lim 3/(x-3)
x->3+ i think this one is infinity but just checking
lim x/(x^2-4)
x->2-
Explanation / Answer
1. limit goes to 3 x/(x-3) This limit doesn't exist at that point. 2. limit goes to 3 from the right 3/(x-3) Yes, this one goes to infinity. 3. limit goes to 2 from the left x/(x^2-4) This goes to negitive infinity.Related Questions
