The problem is provided below (v) (^) The steps we use to solve the problem above is shown below.(v) I provided an example in pic below may you help me solve problem (1) which is above like this example with visal and detail too. Hello is there any way you could help me with problem 1 (which is in the first picture provided below). If you could explain the problem in detail and also use pictures. Also In order to do this problem l have provided the second picture below which are of the steps we must follow for this problem in order to do it. I am trying to explain to my niece so thank you so much again trying to make everything clear and easy follow.

Solution:

Lets first assume the ages of cloe and zake are C and Z respectively.

Now we have been given with the two conditions and two variables C,Z, we will make two equations using two condition and then solve it to find the ages.

Given that first condition:

Cloe is two years less than four times as old as zake-

which means

C = 4Z-2 ---- (1)

Given the second condition:

Cloe is one year more than three times as old as zake

C = 3Z+1 ---- (2)

Solving 1 and 2

3Z+1 = 4Z-2

Z = 3 years

and C = 3*3+1 = 10 years
