Assume that the four process samples arc considered identical and that the two control samples arc considered identical. How many different sequences of process and control samples arc possible if we consider the four process samples to he different and the two control samples to be identical?

a)if four process samples are identical and the two control samples are identical . So total number of sequence of process sample and control samples is 1

b)if four process samples are different and the two control samples are different . So total number of sequence of process sample and control samples is 4*2=8.   

Here each process sample can be sequenced with any control sample of the two.So for 4 samples total number of sequences 4*2=8
