Find Point in Grid Find the XY position of the coloured dots in relation to the known provided black XY grid points. Currently the only known coordinates for all the points are pixels(Orange and coloured XY Coords). My requirement is to find the equivalent black points for the coloured points. The coloured points wont remain fixed. They will change and could be anywhere in the image. Same goes for the image size, it will change in resolution causing the grid pixels to move. The only constant will be the black XY coordinates. Decimal points for the found coloured points are acceptable. Coordinates known: Black XY: are the Actual positions points of the grid points Orange XY: are the pixel points known Coloured XY: are the pixel points known Image Resolution: 443 times 330 All Pixel coordinates are relative to that.

(XO,act,YO,act) are to be found out

Let's the the points surrounding it are A,B,C,D with the following actualand pixel coordinates -

A : (XA,act,YA,act) & (XA,pixel,YA,pixel)

B : (XB,act,YB,act) & (XB,pixel,YB,pixel)

C : (XC,act,YC,act) & (XC,pixel,YC,pixel)

D : (XD,act,YD,act) & (XD,pixel,YD,pixel)

A & B have same y-coordinates

C & D have same y-coordinates

A & C have same x-coordinates

B & D have same x-coordinates

XO,act = [(XB,Act - XA,Act) *(XO,pixel)] / (XB,pixel - XA,pixel)

YO,act =[(YC,Act - YA,Act) *(YO,pixel)] / (YC,pixel - YA,pixel)
