       (b) First, during 2014 when the average price per gallon was $3.80/gallon -- what was the annual amount spent on gasoline per person? Assume that the AVERAGE Miles-per-gallon is 23 mpg (cars and trucks combined; in-city mainly).

       (c) Then (through 2016); the average price per gallon dropped to $1.80!!   For each driver in USA, how much money was saved that was spent on other items? [NOTE: This is also a prediction of economists, and played a role in the "recovery claims in the 2016 elections.]
