Explanation / Answer

Solution: -“Solve Application Problems Using Quadratic Equations “is the most interesting and usefulness topic in our life. When anything (ball, arrow, stone, and missile) is thrown in the air then by using quadratic equations we can find the locations of the projectiles at different time. We can find exact time to hit the target at any locations. By using quadratic equations we can see the movement of the object on the oscilloscope. We can find the length and breadth of a field   if area is known. By using the quadratic equations we can optimize a given material like cloths, wooden things, iron sheets etc. Let the area of a rectangular field is 80 square meters. Its length is 5 less than three times of width then

Let the breadth of the rectangular field = x, Length = 3x -5

Area = 80 = x (3x -5)

Part 2:- “Extract square roots” is difficult process. If the number is perfect square then there is no any problem to find its root. If the number is given in decimal then it takes more time and efforts to find it. Square roots can also be found by completing the square by adding or subtracting some amount at the both sides of the equation. Let we have to find the square root of 16.2, If the number is 16 then its square root is 4. To find the square root of 16.2 we have to use long division method. The square root of 16.2 is 4.024922359
