There are many other organizations who try to determine what the public is thinking about a certain topic by conducting scientific polls. Find a report at an opinion poll source (Gallup, Pew, or any other) that lists as much information as possible. The report should site the title and source of the study. You need to attach the report of the poll you found to this assignment. 1. (1 pt) What is the title and source of the report you found? 2. Data from the 1990-2013 Annual Social and Economic Supplement of the Current Population Survey, which is conducted jointly by the U.S. Census Bureau of Labor Statistics. The data was then obtained by the Integrated Public Use Microdata database, provided by the University of Minnesota.

Dads

Dads who stay at home with their kids. A cluster sampling method was used.

90,000 households.

They were contacted by household interviews, basically going door to door and interviewing people.

The survey was conducted in March of 2013.

The main questions that were asked were, “Are you a stay at home Dad”? Meaning, “Do you work and if not, are you a stay at home dad”?

3. The parameter is that 2 million dads are stay at home fathers

4. While most stay at home parents are mothers, fathers represent a growing share of all stay at home parents, which was 16 % in 2012, up from the 10 % in 1989.

5. The number of stay at home dads over time with children younger than 18 who do not work outside their home

6. I believe the survey I conducted was unbiased because the survey that I studied was conducted by a procedure that produced the correct results on the average. More so, it did not represent anything “biased” because the information given did not overestimate or underestimate its true value. The purpose was to see how many Dad’s were stay at home fathers and that is exactly what the study showed, it was very straight forward.
