Question
As you see, I already have the answer. But I need someone to explain to me WHY that is the answer (btw it is mesnt to say 0.12, it was a typo). My initial reaction is to do r= b-d and do r=10-4=6, r=6. And than to take 6•50=300, therefore deltan/deltat = 300. Why is this not right?? What is the right way to do it and why?? A POPULATION OF DEER HAVE BEEN MOVED TO A HIGH FENCE AREA AND PROVIDED ALL THE RESOURCES NECESSARY FOR EXPONENTIAL GROWTH. OVER ONE YEAR THE POPULATION STATS ARE POPULATION SIZE-50 BIRTHS-10 DEATHS 4 Calculate individual growth rate (little r) and then the population growth rate (AN/At)
Explanation / Answer
The correct formula for individual growth rate = CBR - CDR / population
= 10-6/50 =0.12.
And you already have the answer for r that is 6.
