Question

On Monday, January 9, 2017, Ms. Lopez asked her statistics class to keep track of the number of text messages they would send with their cell phones by the end of the day. The next class she collected their data. Assume that all students in her class had a cell phone and the every student reported the correct number of text messages they had sent. The following stem-and-leaf plot contains the data for the entire class. How many students are in Ms. Lopez's statistics class? Find the median of this data (you do not need a calculator to do this one). Write a complete sentence interpreting the value you found in (b) in context of this situation. A college is offering a new free tutoring program for students in an introductory statistics class. What variable could be a possible confounding factor in determining why students' scores improved or not?
