Explanation / Answer
The total number of persons is 1000.
A.The number of people who are in 19 - 25 group and able to buy 2 jeans annually is 121.
The number of people who are above 25 age group and able to buy 2 jeans annually is 197.
Favourable persons for people who are over 18, purchase 2 pairs of jeans annually are 121 + 197 = 318
Probability= Favourable cases / Total number of cases
= 318 / 1000
= 0.318
B. The number of people who are in 12 - 18 group and able to buy less than jeans annually is 48 + 75 +10 = 133
Probability= Favourable cases / Total number of cases
= 133/1000
= 0.133
Hope this helps!
