A) take a number 14. Then 14×2= 28. Then 28+4=32. Then 32/2 =16. Then 16-2=14.

The number we took was 14 and after following the given procedure the number we get is also 14. Both are same.

B) take another number as 25. Then 25×2=50. Then 50+4=54. Then 54/2=27. Then 27-2=25. Same as the number we took.

--- take another number as 39. Then39×2=78. Then 78+4 =82. Then 82/2=41. Then 41-2=39. Same as the number we took.

C) If we take number as "X" . Then after following given operations,the result will be "X".

D) Using algebraically

Let we take a number x.

Then multiply it with 2 will give 2x.

Add 4 to product will give 2x+4.

Divide the sum by 2 will give (2x+4)/2= x+2.

Subtract 2 from quotient will give x+2-2 = x.

So after choosing the number "x", the result is also x.
