Question
a. Which pair of lines are skew lines? The figure below is a rectangular box in which EFGH and ABCD are rectangles and BF is perpendicular to planes EFGH and ABCD. Use the figure to complete parts a through e. OA. CD and AD B. EH and FH C. CD and EH O D. CG and D b. The intersection of planes EAB and EFG is c. Plane BCG and? are perpendicular d. What is the intersection of BC and plane EFH? a. Name one pair of skew lines. b. What is the intersection of planes EAB and EFG? c. Plane BCG is perpendicular to d. What is the intersection of BC and plane EFH? e. Explain why planes DCG and BCG are perpendicular O C. (G) O D. the empty set e. Explain why planes DCG and BCG are perpendicular Choose the correct answer below O A. The planes do not intersect O B. The intersection of the planes is a single point O C. The intersection of the planes is a single line and the planes form an acute dihedral anglke. The intersection of the planes is a single line and the planes form a right dihedral angle O D. Hello,
a) skew lines means non intersecting and non parallel.
Your opinion c) is correct.
b) ontersectiin of 2 planes is a line. Here, we have a vertical plane and a horizontal plane. If we their intersection then its the segment EF. so answer should be EF.
c) at angle B there is 90 degree, as showk in figure. So answer should be DBF. From figure it also seems DCG is perpendicular to BCG. Go with DCG, If this option is not there then go for DBF. ( If this is not in the options, then let me know).
d) there is not intersection between them so answer is empty set.
e) option D, right angle.
