They plan to give out the survey to every fifth person who comes through the gates, but half of those people chosen ignore the person distributing the survey and continue walking. A survey asks for a respondent's marital status, but does not include "Widowed" as a possible response. Those people responding who were widowed were forced to answer "Single", even though this was incorrect. You are interested in finding out what brand of ice cream is the most popular. You go to the supermarket everyday on Monday through Friday from 10 AM until 2 PM and sample every tenth person who enters the store.
