Children in the sample were classified according to the number of sweet drinks consumed per day and whether or not the child was overweight one year after the study began. Is there evidence of an association between whether or not children are overweight after one year and the number of sweet drinks consumed? degree of freedom =n-1=3

for 3 degree of freedom and above test stat ; p value=0.3863

as p value is greater then 0.05 level we can not reject null hypothesis and conclude that there is   not sufficient evidence of an association between whether or not children are overweight after one year and the number of sweet drinks consumed
