the male poppulation is more than the overall population inn some cases. this is evident from the last column of the table. please check the numbers. below i am prviding you a method how u can do it.
nlx
the number of persons who attain exact age x out of an assumed number of births lo
ndx
the number of persons among the lx persons reaching age x who die before reaching age x+1. thus dx = lx - lx+1
nqx
the probability that a person of exact age x will die before reaching age x+1. it follows that qx=dx/lx
nLx
the number of years lived in the aggregatte by the coohort of lo persons between ages x and x+1.
nTx
sum (Lx,Lx+1,…..) nuber of years lived by the cohort after attaining age x
nex = nTx/nlx
expectency of life
From the table that is given we assume that male population and the overall population is given.
Thus female population=overall population – male population
Step 1 ) calculate , r-male = nlx-male/male population
Step 2) assume ratio r remains same for females then nlx-female= female population*r-male
Step 3) ndx = lx – lx+1
Step 4) nqx = ndx/nlx
Step 5) ratio, r1-male = nLx-male/nlx-male. Assuming it remains same for females. nLx-female = r1*nlx-male
Step 6) nTx = sum ( nLx, nLx+1, nLx+2, ….. )
Step 7) nex = nTx/nlx
so provided u have a correct table if u folllow the above steps you will get the correct expectency.
