For 1 point, tell me why (statistically that is the following joke is funny Let me take you back to a time before all the security checks af luggage an airplanes. had a friend who never flew anywhere. When asked him why, he replied, "because he heard that there was a 1 in 1000 chanoe that a bomb was on the plane and that those odds made make me feel unsafe A little while aga, I saw him at the airport. When Iasked him what changed his mind abaut flying he replied "I figured out that the chance of 2 bombs being on a plane is 1/1000 times 1/1000, or 1 in a million and I feel safe with those odds" Then he learned over to me and whispered so I'm carrying a bomb in my luggage.

Funny? Yes...Correct ? probabaly not,

Let me explain it like this,By bringing a bomb along with you, you are making it a certain event of having a bomb....So Another person carrying a second bomb is not dependent on you....as probably its not like you talk to each other.

So now it is like you carry a bomb everytime with good intentions, However the bomber does not care about your luggage.....The probability he brings a bobm is still 1/1000. Though the probability of finding two bombs on a plane is 1/1000000, For you finding another bomb is still 1/1000 because presence of one bomb is always certain for you

i.e 1X(1/1000) not (1/1000)X(1/1000)
