Question
The following data were collected from a repeated-measures study investigating the effects of 4 treatment conditions on test performance. Determine if there are any significant differences among the four treatments. State the null hypothesis. If you determine a significant treatment effect, use Tukey’s HSD test (overall = .05) to determine which treatments differ from which other treatments. Also, compute the percentage of variance explained by the treatment effect ( 2 ). Conclude with an appropriate summary describing what you found. Be sure that the statement includes/refers to some descriptive statistics and clearly states the outcome of any hypothesis and post-hoc tests you conducted.
Participant A B C D 1 6 3 3 0 2 4 4 2 2 3 4 2 0 2 4 6 3 3 0Explanation / Answer
Running Anive one way test concludes that we can reject the null hypothesis since p-valus is less than significance level 0.05 and f statistic valus is more than the critical F value ,and conclude the alternative hypotheis that all treatment are different.
#Tuskey post hoc test
it is a pairwise comparison. Groups means are compared two at a time to determine whether the difference between the pair of means is significant.
