Therefore,

P(-1.43 < Z< 0.00)=P(Z>-1.43) - P( Z>0.00)

= 1-P(Z>1.43) -P(Z>0.00)

=1- 0.076359-0.500000 from std. normal table

=0.4236

The required area under the standard normal cruve is 0.4236 .

Therefore,

P(-1.74 < Z< 1.15)=P(Z>-1.74) - P( Z>1.15)

= 1-P(Z>1.74) -P(Z>1.15)
