We use analysis of variance for comparing the mean differences between the pairs of means for more than two variables. Suppose we want to check whether the average profits from three different products manufactured in a company is same or not. For checking this hypothesis or claim, we need to use the one way single factor analysis of variance. By using the analysis of variance, we can easily find out whether there is any significant difference in the average profits from three products produced in the manufacturing company.
2. Try to come up with a study where a non-parametric test would be an appropriate strategy.
Sometimes, the availability of the parameter is not possible due to presence of qualitative data. We use the parametric tests where we need to check the hypothesis regarding any parameter or variable. In the non-parametric test, there is a lack of parameter and in this case we use the non-parametric tests. Suppose we want to check whether the education of the person is associated with the wealth of the person or not. For checking this hypothesis we need to use the chi square non parametric test for independence of two categorical variables.
