(a) [10 points] Consider a neutron of energy 2 MeV encountering some 235U. What is the microscopic scattering cross section, U235 s ? What is the microscopic absorption cross section, U235 a ?
(b) [10 points] A 10-MeV neutron has a collision with 235U. What is the probability that the collision produces 234U?
